1. Cut a piece of 4" x 3.75" patterned paper for the base of your pocket card. Cut a second piece of contrasting paper to 3.5" x 6.5". Fold in half to create a pocket of 3.5" x 3.25". Using a circle punch, cut a notch out of the top. This will make it easier to remove the gift tag inside.
2. Adhere pocket to the center of the base and machine stitch the edges, if desired. Embellish pocket with a cardstock sticker sentiment. Adhere string across the top of the pocket for the banner.
3. Create Bubble Cap Star embellishments using the Star Shape Studio Tool and matching Star Bubble Caps and the patterned paper of your choice. I used two papers to add interest.
4. Die cut holly leaves from polka dotted paper and clip them together with a mini paper clip. Adhere to the center of the banner using foam adhesive for dimension. Add a die cut circle behind the leaves, in the center of the cut out notch, to mimic the holly berries.
5. Add Star Bubble Caps to the banner, adhering the center star with foam adhesive for dimension. Adhere mini bells to banner.
6. Dress up a manila shipping tag for the inside of the pocket. I layered polka dotted paper with a scalloped border, followed by a journaling card, die cut, and cardstock sticker. Add lace detailing and sentiment die cut. Create two buttons using the Round 14 Button Studio Tool and matching Round 14 Button Bubble Caps and patterned paper. Adhere to the sides of the die cut label. Add binder clip to the top of the tag and slip the tag in the pocket.
We just had a Hobby Lobby open up, about 20 minutes from my house (we're expecting one in town next year) and my first purchase was a set of gorgeous shallow glass ornaments, ready to decorate.

Here's how to make it:
Apply Clearsnap's Design Adhesives to the back of the ornament and coat the design in glitter. Add "JOY" in sticker letters across the front of the ornament but omit the "O".
Lightly apply EmbossGloss by Clearsnap to the edges of a Cabana Vintage Setting and sprinkle it with gold embossing powder; heat set to give it a gilded look.
Create a star for the center with the Epiphany Crafts Star 25 Shape Studio and Matching Bubble Caps using some gorgeous foil stamped paper. The epoxies are easy to apply to papers with a variety of finishes, like foil stamped paper.
Ink the Star 25 with ColorBox Fluid Chalk ink to disguise the stark white edge of the punched paper--the ink stays on the paper but rubs right off the top of the epoxy when finished.
Top it all off with a bow on the top. Unroll the spiral of a copper "S"-shaped paper clip to make an ornament hanger.
Designer Note: this was an ornament I did for an exchange with a fellow Spark Sister, from Spark the Event this past October. We are all trying to keep in touch and one of the ladies organized a Secret Sister ornament exchange--we're all over the country and everyone has such different styles. It has been an exciting process! The tag is what I added to the ornament once it was in the box.

My next project is a gift tag that accompanied the ornament when I shipped it to my Spark Sister. I have had a set of diecut My Mind's Eye tags for years and am finally creating with them. They are great for gift tags!
Here's how I made it:
Adhere the large section of an Epiphany Crafts Star Flowers Felt Flowers in Mint to the back of the tag -- while gorgeous as packaged, separating the flower layers allows one flower to be used on up to 4 different projects.
Spray a leaf with Smooch Spritz and add to the back of the tag as well. Add a bit of tinsel to the center of the snowflake on the tag and add an EC Star 25 epoxy created with the EC Star 25 Shape Studio to the center of the tinsel.
A little ribbon and gold thread and the tag is complete.
Well that wraps up our incredible week with Pebbles Inc and their Welcome Christmas collection along with our spotlight on our MUST HAVE Epiphany Craft Studio Shape Star Tool!
